St. Petersburg Institute of Foreign Economic Relations, Economics and Law (St.Petersburg-IFEREL) was established in 1994. The Institute underwent state accreditation (certificate of state accreditation N000597 dated 05.04.2007 -05.04.2012) and was entitled to issue state diplomas. Currently it is one of the most prestigious universities of St. Petersburg being the laureate of Social Acknowledgment Sign” (1999).
The rector of the Head Institute – Klimov Sergei, is the chairman of the Board of Interregional Social Organization “Knowledge Society of St. Petersburg and the” region of Leningrad “, academician of the Russian Academy of Humanities, Doctor of Science in economics, Professor.
The Yerevan branch of IFEREL was established in 1996. Today students from Armenia , Russia , countries of CIS and other foreign countries study here.
Director of the Yerevan branch of IFEREL is Yesayan Nina.
IFEREL prepares specialists of higher qualification at the economic and law departments on both daily (full-time) and correspondence courses. Post graduate course is available.
The educating process is carried out by professors staff of leading specialists of Yerevan . Due to their professional skills the education quality complies with the international standards.
The Institute issues diplomas of state sample of RF, accepted in all the European states, countries of CIS, Australia , Israel , Canada , the USA , etc. (Lisbon Convention).
Today the graduates of the branch occupy responsible positions of public administration and national economy sector.
The branch is supported by the Board of Trustees in its academic and scientific activities. The Board is headed by the President of National Academy of Sciences of RA Mr. Sarkisyan F. and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Armenia Mr. Dryukov A.
The Institute is Member Educ-methodical Association by Education in the field of applied Computer Science at Formation of Educ-methodical maintenance of specialists "Applied Computer Science (on fields) (Russia) .
We carry out a program on educating and training specialists of the second qualification in economic and law departments on both daily (full-time) and correspondence courses.
On graduation of the fourth year students receive diplomas of bachelor degree, on graduation of the 5 th year- diplomas of specialist.
Our branch provides all the possible conditions for academic and scientific activities of students. They have access to printing house, internet, e-mail and fax connection, library which includes not only compulsory text-books, but supplementary reference literature and periodicals, necessary for in-depth learning of the curriculum subjects, for preparing reports, course and graduate papers.
Our Institute publishes a periodical “Vestnik “where you can find necessary information about the student's life and events both passed and planned.
The curriculums provide necessary use of computers on all the subjects. Newly-updated computer classes and local information network are at the disposal of our students.
The Institute cooperates with charitable Educational Fund "Anoushavan Abrahamian Education Fund" (AAEF) (USA).
